Re: New Year

WHAT AMAZING GIFTS THE NEW YEAR BRINGS. An entire year worth of
wonderful opportunities, given to us one sunrise at a time. Many
of the moments ahead will be disguised as ordinary days. But of
us has the chance to make something extraordinary out of them.

Each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life. The
secret of success is in turning diary into the best story you can.

Have pages of understanding, tales of hardship and how you
overcame them. Pages of joyous happiness to balance the tragedies
and sorrows.

Fill your story with enthusiasm, adventure, learning and laughter.

Make each chapter reflect time accomplishing these things. Follow
your dreams. Do what you can to make the door open on each day,
as a day filled with inspiration in some special way.

Remember goodness and friendship is its own reward. Smiles will
pay you back.

So have fun, find strength, be truthful. Don't focus on what you
lack.

Realized that people are the real treasures in life.
And Happiness the real wealth.

Do your best, the rest will take care of itself. Let's all rock
this year.

REMEMBER LIFE IS LIKE A SEWER, WHAT YOU GET OUT OF IT DEPENDS ON
WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.

Re: New Year and Such

To: Ray HALL ('57)

Hey Ray I have been out of work for over 2-1/2 years and have
sent in over 1,000 resumes with only 2 responses. Out of the
blue last week I received a job offer through an old friend so
in about two weeks I should be gainfully employed again. So the
point is don't give up the ship yet! Sometimes it does comes in.

Any way happy new Year to everybody.
