FEAR NOT Jim, Don, and Dick!! We are absolutely going to get
to work on the planning now that the Holidays are over. We are
planning to have it with Club 40 on Friday [9/7/12] and go off on
our own on Saturday [9/8/12], like we did 5 years ago. Soooo, if
anyone of the Class of '52 is reading this and they have moved in
the last 5 years, please let me know.
You all should be hearing from us before too long.

Dude, I am sure glad you are on the rebound but it sounded like a
real ordeal at the time. There is, however, an upside. When I was
flying regularly out to Dutch (Harbor), AK from King Salmon, AK
or Anchorage, AK I can't tell you how many flights I had when
there was an injured or ill patient strapped down in the back
of the aircraft attended (hopefully) by a nurse. We were not
supposed to fly without one but I did a couple of times from
Dutch to Kodiak, AK and listed the nurse as Sally Bazooka, a
famous stripper in Anchorage (a/k/a Bazooka Sally). I just could
not let someone in big trouble sit and wait for a nurse to get
to Dutch. My point is this. Fortunately for you, and a lot of us,
Dutch Harbor now has pretty decent M*A*S*H facilities and a good
clinic. Ever since then I have been a member of MedJet but so far
have never used it. We have a company plan for all the travelers
in my companies too.
Glad to hear you are on the rebound. Between that and the tooth,
this was a tough trip to the great 49th State. Let's hope 2012 is
a much better year for us both physically, medically and
business-wise.

is the same as Bakersfield... confused.

I'm so happy that you are ok!!! What a scare you had! I was
scared for you as I read your entry. I know that Jackie must have
been out of her mind, as she wasn't with you at the time. Things
like this can come on so suddenly and we don't even think about
it when we are well and nothing seems to be going on. We just go
on our daily lives. A wake up call for all of us to take one day
at a time and live it to the fullest for the time that God is
giving us. Take care, my friend and "old neighbor". (Not that I'm
saying you are old, haha)... and, of course, you were not living
at home during the time that I babysat your brothers. I'm looking
forward to seeing some of your grand fireworks sometime when we
move back to the TC.
