Re: Max CASE ('57-RIP)

Max and Deanna were very good friends of my parents (Cecil &
Geneva Bell) during years at Central United Protestant Church.
Max visited them a few times when he came back to Richland, and
has also visited me a couple of times here (I live in the same
house I moved into October, 1949). He loved history of anyone -
and especially his family and of ours. I sent him a bunch of
history about the C.U.P. Church and our family last year, and
enjoyed a few calls from him.

I immediately sent an e-mail to Deanna when I read about him in
the Sandstorm, and she replied. She said it was a real shock. He
had been on high blood pressure medication for about 8 months and
evidently had a heart attack. Other than that he had seemed to be
fine. His older son, Marcus, found him when he (Marcus) could not
contact him. "He appeared to be at peace, sitting in a chair
watching TV" according to Deanna.

He was a very special person!

Re: Deedee WILLOX Loiseau ('64)

Rarely do I write into the Sandstorm... but...

Like Deedee if you have chest pains... shortness of breath and
elevated pulse... go immediately... if not sooner (do not pass
GO or collect $200) to the ER. Forget calling the doctor... the
hospital will do that. In the Tri-Cities... go immediately to
Kadlec ER (they have the heart institute).

When these things happen we should be aware that in many cases...
we don't have a whole lot of time! The sooner the attack is
stopped... or the blood clot taken care of... the less damage to
the heart. If ignored you risk a 60% of death. I unfortunately
went thru this scenario.

Re: Heart Attack

Sorry to hear about your heart attack, but glad to know that you
are home and doing okay. You are lucky that you listened to your
friends and got to the ER as quickly as you did... not something
to take chances with. Take care.

-Linda REINING ('64) ~ cold has returned to Bakersfield, CA...
