Gotta very special lady havin' her special day today, on January
26, 2012. This is a girl I've known for many years and funny
thing is I met her through a girl who no longer speaks to me 
and as Dylan would say, "when she hears my name she pretends 
to barf"... but the b-day girl and I stayed friends all these
years... I feel awful saying that I haven't seen her face to face
in a number of years and for that I am sorry. She has been in a
care facility for several years and though I have always had the
best intentions I have never made it over. Maybe it's fear...
maybe I just want to remember her as a beautiful young girl. One
thing, her sis ('63) and I have become friends over the years and
that's a big plus. Ya know the Big Fat Liar (Jimmy HEIDLEBAUGH
('65)) is headed back to the ol' Hospital for more shock
treatment on his heart... Cecilia BENNETT ('65) can explain it...
I mean I would but I wouldn't wanna confuse ya with all the
technical terms and all... but my point is I NEVER talk to Jimmy
without saying "I love you"... same with KEENEY ('65) and ADAIR
('65-'67) and many others (yeah a course.. mostly Bomber-babes)..
some guys get very squeamish at hugs and I love you's so I try 
and understand... but I don't ever want to feel that I missed a 
chance to tell someone I love you... I have not done a good job 
with the b-day girl but I do tell her in my Christmas cards at 
least... like when Kathy WERSEN ('64-RIP) got sick... I have
saved her letters though she could barely write... I just wanted
to say I love you 100 times to make up for every time I didn't
and figured she just knew... so I want to tell this girl I love
you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Treva BOLIN ('65), you are a cherished and
dear friend.
