Re: For all your heating problems, be your furnace old or new

I think it was back in about the 4th grade when we got cable, such
as it was. As the story goes it was so my Grandfather could watch
the news. I really think it was so my Pop could watch the fights on
Wednesday night, but regardless it was good deal for me, 'cause I
got to eyeball Annette every weeknight at 5pm on the Mickey Mouse
Club. Come the weekend, no Mickey Mouse Club but my dad gained
a certain amount of glee watching little kids make fools of
themselves. Starlit Stairwy was on KXLY, Channel 4, the same
channel as Annette. His predilection probably explains why he gave
the OK to my mom for me to take tap dancing lessons, but I'll save
that for another time.

Now for those of you too young or too old to remember Starlit
Stairway it was a talent show sponsored by the Boyle Fuel Company.
Their jingle, "When you need coal or oil, call Boyle, Fairfax 8-
1521", still rings thru my memory.. I always thought it was "KOHLER
OIL", and did until I was in my mid thirties. This catchy little
ditty was sung in very tight two part harmony by the "Boyle Fuel
Twins", in various flavors, for about 20 or so years. They changed
them out every year or so or when either one of them stood taller
than four feet.

Some years ago I was sworn to secrecy when I learned that a couple
of the girls had tried to pass themselves off as "twins", to get
into "Show Biz". I can't, won't and shouldn't make their identity
public, but let's just say that maybe, just maybe some of us might
know them.

Some wise Sage once waxed, "No coincidences no stories". That being
said, what are the chances that the song got stuck in my head, the
day before the birthday of the Sisters Foster, Connie from the
CMC'63 and Lucy from the Card Table Class of '65.

Happy Birthday girls may your birthday cakes glow in the night sky
like Krakatoa.

Re: '64 in '14 ~ 50 YEAR Class reunion CD:

I just called and talked to someone about the status of our 50 year
reunion class CD. He told me that they would be shipped out mid week
or so next week. They weren't quite ready as yet.

-Carol CONVERSE Maurer (Magic Class of '64) ~ Kennewick the wind
is coming up and it's getting cloudy once again. Perfect for
a walk. I just got back from one. It's suppose to rain later
       on I guess.

Re: The Island

You write that you, "didn't see the island till Gilligan and the
Skipper came up to say 'Hi'." Now that just can't be. The only two
people on the island still alive are Ginger and Mary Ann.

As the Skipper would say "Little Buddy, If Ginger and Mary Ann look
like Gilligan and me, you really do need to get your eyes checked!"

-Dennis HAMMER ('64) ~ OK, I will answer the question that has
been around for ages; well 50 years anyway. Which would you
rather be marooned on the island with, Ginger or Mary Ann?
Mary Ann of course, the former Miss Nevada knows how to cook.

Re: Bomber twins rule

ahhhhhhhhhhhh one a my favorite times today... those cute Bomber-
babe twins are celebrating their b-days again... now this is one a
those I gotta be reel careful with cuz as you all know, one of
these dolls didn't grageate with her twin sister and for babes
that's not cool as it is with Mr. ADAIR ('65-67)... I'm told that
babes don't sit around repeating classes so they can't check out
new crops of Bomber-dudes year after year... so I gotta play up the
fact that she is as cute today as she was inna day and "has a great
personality"... for some reason she doesn't usually show up at the
'63 "eating chowder with a girl inna red sweater named Carol" as
her sister does... which reminds me, I prolly shoulda given much
more fan fare to Leo WEBB ('63) turning seven-oh yesterday, as he
is the one who makes the reservation for that date with Carol and
I wanna make sure I getta good seat at the big kids' table for that
event... maybe this year I'll find out who this babe, Carol is...
it doesn't help to look for the chick inna red sweater as most all
of them are wearing red sweaters and I know most all their names
and it ain't Carol... corse that could be her middle name or maybe
a nick name... maybe this year I'll break out in "Oh Carol, I am
butta fool, Darling I love you tho you treat me cruel... " and see
if anybody treats me cruel... maybe it's Carole SLEDGE ('63), but
then that seams kinda unfair to just name her and not the other
Bomber-babes in red sweaters... oh me oh my... and then I gotta be
sure to have new glasses by December so I can see Carol and alla
other Bomber-babes there, which is not to suggest that I don't
wanna see alla guys, like Pitts ('63) who is having a birthday very
soon... specially if he actually drives the Caddy this year... hope
they have some I like, such as my cheaters that I like very much...
cuz when I got my first pair the choices were kinda slim... not
sure why I didn't get Buddy Holly horn rims back then cept they
woulda made my face look lika owl... so I ended up getting "Malcolm
X" glasses which I didn't like much... wonder if he liked them or
his mom made him get them... funny, years later I got the same
frames in sun glasses and liked them... well, maybe I'm stressing
too much over this and should just say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Connie ('63)
and Lucy ('65) FOSTER on your special day, October 21, 2014!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
