Does anyone remember " Teen Time" on KEPR TV?

Fred Smith, from Pasco, and I put this talent show together and
Dunning Ray Insurance (two doors down from Spudnut, sponsored us.
Talent came in from everywhere. Good times!

These are the apartments that have gone up on the corner of Symons
and Goethals on that lot that has been barren since the beginning
of time.

I heard once (maybe on Sandstorm) that someone who lived next to
the lot didn't want to sell it and have any construction put up
next to their house. Hmmm Pictures were taken from across the
street in front of "Ray's Drug". Fred SCHAFER ('63-RIP) and I used
to stop there on our way home from Chief Jo in 1958 for cherry
Cokes, vanilla Cokes and some strange kind of lime drink at the
soda fountain. I believe there used to be a gas station on the
other corner but that memory is vague. Ask Ellen WEIHERMILLER
('63). Those were her old stompin grounds.

The Hyatt twins (Billy and Bobby ('63-RIP) lived right by Ray's
when they were going to Chief Jo. I remember going over to their
house and they and their dad would be polishing their shoes
together or they would have their fishing reels all taken apart on
the kitchen table and be oiling them up for a trip to the potholes.
Their dad was pretty cool.
