Before the day gets away, and they always somehow manage to do
so, I'd best get this taken care of. For those of you who not
fond of the "old and boring", sorry about that.

Today he celebrates yet another birthday. Not going to elaborate
on how old he is, but in 1953 he was the King of the Prom. He got
promoted the following school year to Student Body President. He
also did a few other things which may or may not be reported in
Jim WATTS' ('54) "tell all" book.

On that note, it is time to tip the ol' propeller beanie and give
a "Happy Birthday!" shout to Pat O'BRYAN ('54) on the auspicious
occasion of it.

Re: Peter BAUGHER ('63)

I have one memory of Peter from Chief Jo. Must have been in a
class with him. One day he blurted out, "How do you know this
(life) isn't all a dream, and you're actually a butterfly? "
Pretty heady stuff for a 14-year old. His intellect seemed far
ahead of his classmates.

To: Mike FRANCO ('70)

I do remember Firesign Theatre tho I never heard but a bit of
one album. Also remember a Frank Zappa poster titled "Phi Zappa
Krappa" with Zappa on the john, a poster of Marx (Groucho) and
Lennon (John) on the wall behind him.

Re: 4A State Hoops ~ Richland v Davis ~ 3/4/15 TCH

"When the sixth-ranked Davis Pirates (19-4) face the
fifth-ranked Richland Bombers (19-4) at the boys Class
4A state basketball quarterfinals at 10:30 AM Thursday
at the Tacoma Dome, it will be the 131st meeting
between the two schools since 1958. The teams have
combined for 53 state tournament appearances (40 by
Richland) and five state championships — the last by
Davis in 2012. Plenty of talented players will take the
floor, including Mid-Columbia Conference player of the
year Steven Beo and Columbia Basin Big Nine player of
the year Nikhil Lizotte. Those two will be surrounded
by a cast of al-league players – Carson Miller and
Landon Radliff of Richland; Max Jones, Nick Navarro and
      Tyezaeh Bales-Walker of Davis."

If the Bombers win this Thursday game [today], they will then
advance to the 3:45 PM semi-final game on Friday where they would
meet the winner of the Kentwood-Woodinville game. If the Bombers
win again on Friday, they will then play at 9 PM on Saturday for
the State Championship .

You will be able to listen to games on the radio at KONA 610AM
or at http://610kona.com/ on the internet.

The State Championship game will be taped and shown on TV on Sunday.
