I wrote into the Sandstorm yesterday and told about a chance
meeting in my AZ community with a fellow from Richland. He said
his name was Bill Davidson and that he left Richland after 3rd
grade when his dad bought a small farm in Prosser. I believe
he said he was born in 1944. We only had about a 10-15 minute
conversation and he didn't offer any personal family (or
Richland address) info. If anyone thinks they may have known
him and would like to contact him, I can check our community
directory for his contact info.

{A 1944 birth would probably be class of '62 or '63.

Calling all Bombers:

We need your help. Our oldest son Tom, 28, finishes his two-
year course of study in computers and software technology at the
Los Angeles Job Corps center June 25th. And as of that day he
has no place to live. The plan earlier was that he would have a
job by then and be able to secure a place to live. The job has
not materialized, despite wide-ranging searches in the Los
Angeles area and out of state.

Job Corps will not house him when classes are finished, and he
cannot come to live with us in Oregon, as our lease will not
permit it for more than a month. He has a steady girlfriend in
L.A. whom he plans to marry, has signed up for continued
education at a local college, has long-term goals to pursue a
Bachelor's and eventually a Master's degree there, and strongly
wants to remain in L.A. Everything he wants and needs is there
(except, so far, a job).

Tom is adopted, and has been through many severe challenges
over the years. He has come a very long way, longer than we can
reveal. There were times we didn't think he was ever going to
make his way in this world. But he blossomed in Job Corps, was
an outstanding student, and has a long list of certifications
for his profession. He continues to interview and has a good
prospect for a job.

Tom is quiet and polite, and doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, or
hang with those that do. He is very health-conscious and mature.
The bottom line here folks is that he is in desperate need of a
place to live in the L. A. area until he can get settled in a
job. Not an apartment; can't afford that, but something like
a spare room, for which we can provide a modest stipend. SO,
fellow Bombers, I'm sending out the call. Can anyone help? If
you can, email me immediately. You'd earn our undying gratitude.
We have 10 days to solve this.

Re: have you seen these two women?

Word has it that the entire West Coast is gearing up for a
"Bomber-babe Hunt" that will make the man hunt in New York pale
in comparison... Now only one of them has her b-day today... but
her partner in crime ('65) celebrates with her until the second
one has her b-day and then Katie bar the door (not you Katie
SHEERAN ('61) it's just a figure of speech tho you may wanna
check the cattle every night just to make sure... nah... you'd
better bar the door)... the mayhem caused by these two Bomber-
babes is legend... I don't care what we Bomber-dudes did back in
the day... we got nothing on these two... trust me... they are
VERY sneaky... they look pretty much as they did at Col-Hi which
puts everyone off guard... Remember the movie with Marlon Brando
back in '53, the "Wild one"... that's nothing compared to these
two during "Birthday Month" the only thing I can hope is that
their sentences are short cuz they gotta get outa the slammer in
time for the '65er's 50 year in August or what ever silly month
it is occurring... The Robin's Cell Block number 9 (tho Wanda
did a fair job on it too) pretty much gives the picture of their
last stint... Be afraid... be very afraid...

Now not to overshadow another Bomber-babe sharing the day... I
met this girl thru the screen door of her parents' house... no
I wasn't trying to date her... I was trying to spring her older
brother for a little fun and games... but every time (well NOT
every time... but often) we would knock on the door and ask "can
you come out and play" the answer was the same... "I gotta baby-
sit Jo"... and there she would be... looking at us from between
her brother's legs...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Cathy MOUTON ('65) and Jo HEIDLEBAUGH ('74) on
your special day, June 15, 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
