Re: Friday Dance

The Richland Seniors Association dances are going strong!
Seventy-seven people attended the Friday, July 17th dance at the
Richland Community Center. We are having a special summer dance
this Friday, August 7th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, also at the
Community Center. The EASY SWING BAND does a great job! And
there are always nice door prizes and lots of good food! The
price is only $6 for three hours of fun and fellowship. Would
love to see more Bombers there! Please call me if you have
questions - 509-946-5385.

We also have 3rd Friday dances - same place, same band, same
good food and same price - $6. These dances are from 1:00 pm to
3:45 pm - a great way to spend an afternoon! We are told by many
that we have the best dances within a 100-mile radius! Come join
us!

3rd Friday dances for the rest of the year: August 21 --
September 18 -- October 16 -- November 20 -- December 18

Holy cow! Two (count 'em 2) entries from the Junior Gyrene in
one issue. (all right, so it was an editorial goof) But, what
were the odds?

Sorta beside the point, as we are celebrating the birthday of a
Bomber Babe whom I knew. How, you may ask; well, I'll tell ya,
we went to the same school and at the same time. In fact we even
graduated on the same day and in the same gym. Hard to beat
those odds. I have it, from a semi-reliable source that today
might even be her 21st, which would make her eligible to have an
adult beverage the next time she visits the Tahitian Room. And,
now, to tip the ol' propeller beanie and say "Happy Birthday!"
to Sandra STURGIS ('54). Hope you have a good party today.

On another note, this coming Friday marks the opening day of the
Homer Davenport Community Festival in Silverton, OR (just
minutes south of Mount Angel). Why do I mention this? Well my
Italian son, Richard, is president of the group that organizes
the event. They also handle the Strawberry Festival each
Father's Day. If you happen to be in the neighbour hood, stop in
at the main site (Coolidge/McLain Park) or take in the Davenport
Race on Saturday.

And, finally, a plea to whom ever to sign up for the Annual
Club 40 Meeting and Whoop-de-doo.

temps are predicted to fall to the 80s sometime this week.

Re: longest wedding ever

Riiiiiiiiiiiight... let's see... Maren ('63 & '64) has saved
me from stewpit typos (werser then my normle spelin'), wrong
dates, totally incorrect info and a million other things (plus
bein' my bestex) and I'm not gonna "fergive" her for losin' a
post a mine to SPAM... uhhhhhhhhhh don't think so... besides
neither Annie ('63) nor MaryAnn ('63) wuz gonna take me up on my
offer anyway... I mean would you letcher daughter go out with
me? So since they is ever so slightly more mature than I, ya
think they'z stupuuuuuud? No way. But they still think I'm
cute... from a distance... but today we celebrate something I
have never understood but knowing the groom, I just take it as
the trute (that's like yute only different)... spechully since
he's got the largest yearbook and Richland memorabilia
collection this side a the Benton City Libberry... so HAPPY

2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
