Does anyone have pictures of the two Quonset huts that were used at Carmichael in '56-'57 (I think those were the years I was in 7th grade?) A story I'm writing features Quonset hut style buildings, and I'd love to show pictures of them to my writing critique group. I remember we spent about as much time in the cafeteria as we did in the huts across Lee from the main building. They were freezing in winter and hot as hell much of the fall and spring. I don't know who was responsible, but occasionally someone stuffed paper in the key hole so they couldn't be unlocked. The custodian eventually opened them, but I don't know how. -David DOUGLAS ('62) ~ Mesa, AZ ************************************************************* ************************************************************* >>From: Roy BALLARD ('63) Re: Tri-City Herald Sports This morn, I was interested in how the football team did, lo and behold there was one picture in the Herald's Sports section and NO results... they said if you wanted to know scores go to the online Herald site click Sports and again lo and behold some sports scores... but they had a write up where they would write about a game where someone had scored and then go to another game with some other score. All the way back to the beginning of the Richland Skyline game where Skyline scored first and they were reporting on games from 1A on up, but all the real info will be in the Sunday Herald, what a lousy way to run a paper... getting close to canceling mine. -Roy BALLARD ('63) ~ Richland ************************************************************* ************************************************************* That's it for today.
