Re: Thanksgiving

I noticed that more businesses referred to Thanksgiving this
year than in the past. Last year there were many references to
"Turkey Day," which I personally found offensive. That's my
opinion and I'm going to stick to it!

Re: Gloria ADAMS Fulcher ('54) Update

Gloria is getting settled in her new place and would love to
hear from friends. At this time, she is not up to having any
visitors. She wants you to send her messages through e-mail.
Her e-mail is Clarence_Gloria@msn.com She responds back
pretty quickly, so please send her your greeting. On Monday,
Gloria will be able to have her dog with her full time. She is
so excited for that, and she will begin her physical therapy 3
times a week. Gloria is getting stronger and is very determined
to get well so she can go home. That is her goal!! If you don't
have her cell phone number, I would suggest you ask her if you
can have it, otherwise call Brookdale Meadow Springs.

Re: State football

Richland Bombers!!!!! Yay, they are on their way to State
Tournament in Tacoma next Saturday!!! They beat Skyview tonight
with a score of 35-7 and it has been 17 years (1999) since they
have played in State. They went 13-0 for the season so far!!!!
Could be 14-0 after next week!! Way to go Bombers football!!!!

Re: Sharon Ann Tyson (NAB-RIP)

Was sad to see such a young woman listed in the obituaries on
November 23rd! Then to find out she was the daughter of one of
my classmates, DeWitt Riggins ('54-RIP)!!! Sharon Ann Tyson
was born same day, one year earlier than my youngest daughter.
Sharon was listed 5/4/63-11/13/16!!! DeWitt passed away on
11/20/08!!! Not sure who he married, but his wife Rose Riggins
is also deceased. All TOO young!!!!

Re: Birthday

This guy never forgets a birthday of his classmates in and
around the year he graduated (1965), so how can we pass up the
chance to wish him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY..... DAVID RIVERS!!!!!
While we are friends on Facebook, and you have been quiet for a
while, I want to be one to wish you a wonderful, peaceful,
joyous day! Hope your daughter is there to bake you a cake!!!
Enjoy!!!

-Marilynn WORKING Highstreet ('54) ~ Pasco Enjoying our warm
50s weather, but hear some snow might be on the horizon
      in week or two!!!

Figgured if I got this done early enough, it might make it
through Maren's firewall and be an entry in today's AS. You
all saw what happened yesterday. Guess every one was too
enthralled over the Huskies' win. Go Beavs and Roll Tide.

Now, on to more important things. It's the birthday of two
Bombers, fortunately not the same year. One of them I knew
from back when, and he is a fellow member of The Class of '54.
T'other I met at R2K or something similar; we've even gone so
far as to exchange e-mails; and I am, like most, amused with
his wishful tales of his youth as a Warrior. Now if he could
just be nicer to Bomber Babes, it would be a vast improvement.

Without further ado, a tip of the ol' propeller beanie and a
"Happy Birthday!" to Gene STEPHENS ('54) and David RIVERS
('65). It's time to come down from the stuffing and cranberry
sauce high.

the water in my basement has receded to the point where
I don't have to don scuba gear to see what's going on
      down there.

Re: birthday boy

There is always so much said about this birthday boy... most of
it complimentary. There is so much that COULD be said about him
that is a bit suspect. However, I am a member of an elite group
of Bombers who are some of his greatest fans. He never forgets
us... our birthdays, anniversaries, our successes, our hurting
hearts... he is our true friend. To be clear... he is a true
friend to every Bomber, Marine & hot rodder out there! We have
to explain sports to him... but I suspect he feigns ignorance
on that subject. Though he lives is Las Vegas, he travels
north for every reunion... to almost every December gathering,
to memorials of classmates & other of our loved ones... he
supports us with love. We all know that if we called... he
would be with us as soon as he could... hopefully in a "normal"
car as Ellen would say. What else can we say about this
Bomber... this Jr. Gyrene, this Ring Tailed Tooter, this often
called Brat, this "Here Comes Da Judge"... who recognizes his
elders such as The Oracle, Jimbeaux ('63)... his comrade is
daily emails, Leo ('63)... & his "sisters" who attempt to keep
him in line with threats: Ellen ('63), Cecilia ('65), & Mary
Lou ('63). We love him... and send our best wishes on his
special day to David RIVERS ('65!

Happy Birthday to our favorite Legal Eagle,

I wanted to say a belated "happy Thanksgiving" to all Bombers
everywhere. Don't know about you, but I stayed away from the
mall yesterday, being that it was Black Friday. Today is "Small
Businesses".

Have our Christmas decorations down from the garage. Put some
up last evening and will finish up today. Christmas is my
favorite season of all. Our church has a very active senior
participation. We are putting on an Advent special with
readings and music. Looking forward to that. What kinds of
things do you look forward to this Christmas season?

looking and feeling a lot like winter around here
