Well, we met last night in Newport, after my Girl Scout cookie leader training meeting. We had a great visit and caught up on many years of personal history. She retired from teaching school and has gone into painting. I was so glad to see her, and we promised to keep in touch.. It's always a pleasure to visit with friends from Richland when they get over to the Oregon Coast!! Well, I can't even believe it's December already... not sure where November went! Happy Holidays to all my friends out there in Bomberland... -Leoma COLES ('63) ~ Lincoln City, OR where it's a rainy day at the coast again, but I love it!! ************************************************************* ************************************************************* >>From: David RIVERS ('65) Re: What a day fer a day dream... I'm diggin' this post as one a them dayz you just feel warm and fuzzy all over... every night I go to bed to a set of glowing foot prints near the wall next to my bed... sounds strange? Nah for my 60th b-day the B-day Bomber babe and her husband gave me the "Hanford scale"... the one our folks and most of us were weighed on by Dr. Corrado... one of her beeeeeeeeeeaaaaauteeeful daughters (the eldest) put those feets on the scale so I wouldn't trip over my own big feets inna dark I am sure... BUT First I gotta thank everyone for the posts, calls and well wishes on my birthday... believe it or not I actually went to Luckenbach, Texas and hadda bang up time... since I don't use a smart phone I wasn't able to read alla wishes till Saturday morning... Next... As our own General James MATTIS ('68) looks to be the next Secretary of Defense, Jack KEENEY ('65) has decided to make a second run of the "Bring back Mad Dog" T's... they will run 15 smackers plus shipping if needed. Orders can be taken either through Dick STEPHENS ('66) or Bill VOILAND ('66)... I have Dick's number if'n ya don't have it... Now... taa daa daa daa...
